Getting Started

 I'm usually the one reading out the words, not writing them, but let's give it a go;

My name is Shannon and I am about to begin my studies at Middlesex University on the BA Professional Practice, Arts and Creative Industries specialisation course. 

I studied at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts from 2015-2018 and during my time there I discovered the love I have for acting. This passion for acting devloped into an affinity for screen acting specifically by the time I reached my graduating year. Despite there being allocated lessons for acting for screen, I felt I didn't have a chance to explore it fully and sought a further way to do so. 

Which brings me to the present. 

It's no secret that the creative industries are some of the hardest hit by the current global situation, and I'm hoping that embarking on this new chapter of my professional studies will not only help me to delve into the interest I have for the subject, but will also help give me a well needed morale boost and reminder of why I do what I do. 

And so it begins...
